Copper
doesn't rust
The
tools are hard-wearing and will last for years
Our
tools have sharp edges, and they stay sharp

About
the Tools
Our
tools are hand-made in Austria by craftsman coppersmiths. The blades are made of
solid bronze, an alloy of copper
and tin, and then hand-beaten to harden them. Other parts are made of
brass and other copper alloys. The shafts are
made of European hardwoods - ash, beech
and lime. The longer tools are European length - longer than we are used
to in Britain, allowing a comfortable, upright working posture. The
resulting tools are hardwearing, practical and beautiful.

Our
Guarantee
These
are long-lasting tools, which should outlast most of us. However,
if for any reason you are unhappy with the tool, we offer a
no-quibble lifetime guarantee. We will refund or replace an unused tool. We
will also repair or replace a faulty tool. Of course, this excludes normal wear and tear. The
wooden handles and shafts are guaranteed for five years (and we
supply replacement handles and shafts).

One
startling result that we found,
was that plants cultivated with our tools are less
attractive to slugs and snails. We have investigated
what may be the reason for this on the Slugs
and Snails page
